Just yesterday, I was working with a UK student on their personal statement, and remembered all sorts of tips and tricks that helped me get into Oxford while I was applying. Deriving meaning from your life experiences is an essential component to any university application, and having someone to bounce ideas off and discuss past achievements with often leads to the emergence of new insight.
